Working with children and youth demands emotional labor from teachers, school leaders, and other education workers which influences their workplace well-being. This presentation will discuss the findings from two, three-year research studies into some of the stress and distress felt by educational workers, and will introduce the HEARTcare planning framework and will describe four health promotion initiatives, including streaking and professional "Walk and Learn" sessions to build occupational well-being for all educators at the individual, school, and system levels.
